Imagine Design Co.

Imagine Design Company was started in 1993. I had been advancing my computer skills at this time because that technology was changing the Graphics Arts industry in which I worked. After seventeen and a half years, the company I worked for was being seriously mismanaged and was going out of business. I had a young family to support and decided to take the step to start my own company.

I started doing design work and digital illustration. That led to tutoring individuals for companies in: Introduction to Macintosh, and Beginning & Advanced Photoshop. The next company I worked for asked me if I would train their nine artists on the computer. I trained a 3 to 4 person class during the slow times at our Union training facility (Graphic Communication International Union). We completed that training and the union hired me to create a curriculum for the new apprentices coming into the trade to get them familiar with the digital world. That continued for 6 years.

I am currently tutoring artists and individuals who are interested in learning the computer. I have created custom classes that range from simply digitizing an artists' work to incorporating creative Photoshop techniques in their art.
